Sr. Product Designer - Platforms (Remote)

The Role:

Splice is seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Designer to lead the design and development of user interfaces for our Marketplace Platform. As a Product Designer at Splice, you will play a crucial role in creating products that are loved by our users. You will collaborate with a diverse team of designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, customer experience associates, data scientists, and others to design, prototype, test, build, measure, and iterate on new and existing products. You will use a variety of methods, such as written communication and prototyping, to share your ideas and shape the future of music production.

What You’ll Do:

• Envision and design the next generation of user interfaces for third-party partner experiences on our Marketplace Platform
• Create sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals and interactions
• Facilitate design projects from problem definition to production and beyond
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive projects forward and contribute to the overall direction of your area
• Use UX research and analytics to validate and evaluate design solution effectiveness
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback
• Mentor other designers and participate in design candidate interviews

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Product Designer
• Experience authoring and managing design systems
• Demonstrated ability to turn abstract ideas into high-quality designs
• Portfolio showcasing a history of high-quality work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and problems being solved
• Self-motivated and able to take ownership of work and attention to detail
• Humble and open to receiving and incorporating feedback

Nice to haves 

• Passion for music and familiarity with creator culture
• Ability to prototype and/or build work with code
• Experience working at high-growth organizations

In accordance with New York law, the salary range for this role if filled within New York is $142,500 - $167,500. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law
