We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Integration Platform team to drive the rapid development, iteration, and learning we need to build an ecosystem that scales to meet any customer demand.

You’ll join a cross-functional group dedicated to expanding the breadth and depth of Zapier’s integrations. You’ll work directly with customers and partners to provide experiences that maximize the power of Zapier’s growing ecosystem, and allow us to offer the most complete set of integrations on the internet.

About You

• You’re a skilled designer and are continually growing. You have 5-8 years experience designing digital products in a fast paced environment. You have a strong understanding of the product development and design thinking process, from discovery and shaping to detailed product design work. You are ever looking to grow your skills and impact as a designer. Excellent visual design skills and ability to contribute to our design system.
• You optimize for speed of learning. You constantly search for signal from users. You understand how to synthesize insights and translate them into actionable plans. You communicate what you learn with your team and work with teammates to iterate on solutions.
• You thrive when presented with the unknown. The bigger the problem, the bigger your resolve. You stay focused on optimizing outcomes regardless of the many paths that could lead to it. You embrace letting go of ideas and exploring new options.
• You seek out input early and often. One of Zapier’s values is Growth Through Feedback and this applies to our design work too! You are comfortable setting your ego aside and getting other eyes on your work. You plan and facilitate collaborative sessions with other designers and cross-functional partners to build alignment.
• You have experience bridging user goals and business value. You consider yourself a product designer and can point to work that you’ve done that helped scale the business and created user value. You understand that design is a balance of the two.
• You are self-directed and process driven. We believe in systems and processes that help us scale our impact beyond our individual contributions. You effectively manage your own workload, create plans with cross-functional teammates and escalate project risks.
• You’re a natural storyteller and great communicator. Zapier is 100% remote so impactful communication – visual, written and presentation – are crucial to communicating design work and collaborating with your team mates.

Things You’ll Do

• Lead the creation of delightful user-centered experiences leveraging a solid design thinking process.
• Champion UX best practices to ensure we are making informed design decisions together.
• Work with your team to craft design solutions that solve user problems and impact business objectives.
• Lead design discussions and present alternative solutions based on your understanding of user and business needs.
• Continually learn about our users and our business to suggest new areas where we can run experiments.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers. Continuously share work at all stages early and often.
• Deliver complete high-quality designs for delivery.
• Use and improve established design patterns and help to create new ones when needed.

The pay ranges for this role are:

United States: $152,200 / $190,200 / $228,200 USD

Canada: $152,200 / $190,200 / $228,200 CAD

A Candidate's compensation package is finalized once the interview process is concluded and accounts for experience, competencies (job knowledge, skills and abilities) and internal equity. We use a competency-based approach to base pay, which means we set pay for all Zapier employees based on their competency and skills demonstrated in their role. In alignment with that philosophy, the upper half of a pay range is typically reserved for individuals who have consistently demonstrated a high level of job knowledge and skills for their current role and level while at Zapier.
