About the team:
The preferred location for this position is in or around Robinhood's offices in New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA, with in-office work capabilities.
We're looking for a Product Designer to join us on our mission to build intuitive product experiences that make financial wellness accessible to everyone. This role is on the Growth team, where we focus on attracting and engaging customers to discover all that Robinhood offers across our iOS, Android, and web products.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team that has garnered significant accolades including the Apple Design Award and Google Play Award. The ideal candidate will be able to map out a diverse set of creative solutions and work with leadership to help craft Robinhood’s products.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle
- Set a vision for the user experience and craft a space for others to collaborate
- Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes
- Partner closely with user research, engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Listen to customers to develop the right product strategy and solutions that delight our customers
- Lead cross-functional idea generation sessions and brainstorms
- Balance both the customer experience and Robinhood outcomes, designing with responsibility
About you:
- You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates vision, care for their craft, and story-telling skills
- You've got experience building and growing excellent consumer products
- You hold a strong understanding of design systems, how to apply them, and how to contribute to them
- You're exceedingly customer focused
- You're an expert in Figma
- You are a positive and resilient employee; embracing input with a desire for continuous iteration and improvement
Bonus points:
- Experience working on growth teams or programs
- Interest or experience in investing
The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
US Zone 1: $162000 - $190000
US Zone 2: $142000 - $167000
US Zone 3: $126000 - $148000
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. You can view comp zones for our US office locations in the table below. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
