The Role
The Design team at Addepar shapes wealth managers’ digital experiences. By designing and delivering intuitive, easy-to-use products, we help wealth managers grow their businesses and provide best-in-class services to their clients. We take an agile, high-growth attitude and champion a client-centered work environment with a focus on constructive feedback and collaboration.
We are currently seeking a Senior Product Designer with an emphasis in strong visual design skills to join our team in building compelling, intuitive, best-in-class user experiences! You will be primarily working to drive two core experiences:
- Define a consumer-grade experience for our web and mobile client portals that investors use to access to their financial information.
- Enable workflows that help advisors tell their story and customize their message at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all design aspects of a project from start to finish, collaborating with cross-functional agile teams to build an elegant, delightful, and cohesive product experience for our users.
- Elevate Addepar’s product experience through outstanding displays of data visualization and interaction design.
- Take a user-centric approach to influence product decisions, prioritization, strategies, and roadmaps.
- Contribute to the expansion, evolution, and adoption of the Addepar Product Language design system.
- Seek out and embrace feedback from your peers and collaborators while providing thoughtful feedback to your team.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience working in the field of Product Design, UI/UX Design, or equivalent.
- A visually stunning portfolio showcasing solid user-centered design practice and a high degree of design craftsmanship.
- Experience crafting native mobile and web responsive products.
- Ability to translate complex sets of requirements into elegant and scalable design solutions.
- Outstanding collaboration, communication, and presentations skills.
- A self-starter and a teammate who enjoys working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience working with Figma, our primary design tool.
- Experience in the finance industry is not required, but a huge plus.
