- HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $90 – $120/hr
- ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long term
THE OPPORTUNITY
What you’ll be working on

Evaluate designs and perform heuristic analysis of user interfaces to inform design direction.

Engage with customers and business partners to discover needs and priorities.

Explore, design, iterate, and refine scalable components and patterns that work across multiple platforms with complex use-cases and requirements.

Work with UX designers and researchers, CX professionals, content authors, and developers to ensure designs meet user expectations.

Define and document these components and patterns to create a source of truth for a variety of end users.

Plan and conduct user research and communicate research findings to peers and business partners, as needed.

Mentor junior UX designers
-
5 years of relevant professional experience; at least 2-3 years working with design systems.

Expert focus on detailed aspects of visual design creating elegant user interfaces employing graphics, typography, photography, iconography, color, and brand elements.

Experience contributing, expanding, and thinking in terms of visual style guides, design languages, and design system patterns and components.

Expertise in responsive web and native mobile design, with strong understanding of market trends in user interface styles and patterns in those areas.

Expert knowledge of Adobe XD and/or Figma.

Ability to create a broad range conceptual designs and refine those concepts through collaboration with other designers and engineers.

Availability to connect for meetings and discussion with key partners and stakeholders during CT time (does not mean you need to work CT hours).

A strong online portfolio that showcases a variety of work.

A designer’s mindset, including empathy, compassion, and curiosity. The desire to strive for the highest quality experience, through design critiques and collaboration.
