The Role
Addepar Design shapes wealth managers’ digital experiences. By designing and delivering intuitive, easy-to-use products, we help wealth managers grow their businesses and provide best-in-class services to their clients. We’re looking for a motivated, collaborative, and creative individual that’s excited to own content design projects and deliver results.
In this role, you’ll lead strategic content initiatives that make our Analysis and Dashboards products easier to learn. You’ll develop workflows that help our clients analyze financial data and share key insights. You’ll partner with product design, product management, and engineering to develop a library of reusable resources for firms. You’ll evolve and unify terminology, voice, and tone. You’ll create standards and processes that scale.

What You’ll Do
- Develop expert knowledge of the users, workflows, and problems in your product space.
- Balance empathy, logic, and data to make informed content decisions.
- Develop content strategies that simplify complex workflows.
- Lead and prioritize content-first projects that directly impact business goals.
- Design UI copy for interactions, notifications, error messages, and more.
- Develop and maintain clear, easy-to-follow guidance for our clients.
- Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams.
- Mentor your fellow content designers.
- Improve design consistency and contribute to our content standards.
- Learn and gain expertise in design and operational tools at Addepar.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience writing for software products, ideally in enterprise or B2B2C.
- An inspiring portfolio of case studies and writing samples that showcase how you craft outstanding experiences through content.
- High emotional intelligence. People enjoy working with you.
- Exceptional writing, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with design and prototyping tools like Figma.
- Experience in finance isn’t required, but a huge plus.
