Location
Our Solutions Manager will be an integral part of our Client Services team. This role is based remotely and is required to sit in eastern time zone.

The Opportunity
As the Global Solution Manager you will develop the relations between our internal Practice Leads, Partner Program Manager, our technical counterparts at the major Cloud partners: AWS, GCP, and Azure Partner Engineers, and our Go-To-Market & Product team.

Responsibilities
The Global Solution Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment and establishing best practices of our service portfolio. Serving as the technical liaison connecting our internal Practice Leads and Cloud partners - AWS, GCP, and Azure, this position holds the responsibility for defining processes to introduce new offerings and maintaining existing services.  In addition, this role will collaborate with Practices Leads to ensure the adherence to documentation standards and the success of new services and offerings. 

Strategy Alignment & Engagement:

  • Work closely with internal Practice Leads to ensure that deliverables are consistent with both company objectives and cloud partner requirements.
  • Collaborate regularly with marketing,based on feedback from Cloud Partners, Practice Leads, and changing market dynamics.
  • Play a pivotal role in facilitating technical collaboration between DoiT’s Practice Leads and AWS, GCP, and Azure Solution Partner Engineers. This role promotes seamless teamwork, ensuring that technical insights and expertise flow smoothly between teams.
  • Collaborate with the Partner Program Manager to ensure that technical requirements and strategies are seamlessly integrated with partnership competencies and business objectives.
  • Coordinate technical communications, training, and facilitate the understanding of partner-specific technical updates and requirements among relevant stakeholders.

Standard, Service Portfolio Ownership, & New Service Rollout

  • Define and establish best practices, standards, and guidelines for the creation of runbooks, training materials, and technical documentations within DoiT’s practice areas.
  • Assume ownership of the Service Catalog, comprehensively listing all services provided across our DoiT offerings. Ensure Practice Area Leads are diligently maintaining the catalog to uphold its accuracy and relevance. 
  • Ensure alignment of services in the catalog with the company's go-to-market strategy.
  • Play a key role in facilitating the successful rollout of new services and offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales to ensure that all required documentation and training material have been created by the appropriate individuals. 

Community Engagement & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Foster community building and collaboration among Practice Leads, emphasizing mentorship and guidance to facilitate professional growth and alignment with offerings.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and communications across global time zones to promote knowledge sharing and synergy across departments.

Requirements

  • Must have depth within cloud service offerings, market trends, and technological advancements.
  • Minimum of 10 years in technology roles, with at least 5 years in a senior program or product management role focused on cloud technologies or solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and foster a cohesive work environment.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, aligning technical deliverables with business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and partner requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and drive teams towards common goals.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional team
  • Strong knowledge in Cloud technologies, with expertise in at least one of the following: AWS, GCP, or Azure
