Senior/Principal Product Designer, Creator Content

Our Creator Studio product and Creator Hub lets anyone teach themselves how to create, publish, and monetize any experience imaginable-across any device; reaching millions of players across the globe.

One of the most important parts of every Roblox experience is the content. As Senior/Principal Product Designer for Creator Content at Roblox, you will define end-to-end experience for Creators managing, sharing and monetizing their content. You will define the content lifecycle for Roblox creators, architect how content is structured, and define the permissions and UX that facilitates seamless collaboration between content creators. Your work will help Roblox Creators get their content in the hands of a broader audience and improve the quality and suitability of content for Roblox Users.

This is a high visibility role, responsible for defining the core experiences that help artists, animators, developers and anyone with big ideas to have success and gain proficiency over time as they create content for the Roblox metaverse.

You Will:

• Create outstanding user experiences for a diverse global audience through seamless cross-product journeys, engaging learning experiences, and delightful interactions that align with our mission.
• Manage end-to-end feature design with an ability to translate abstract ideas into viable product features.
• Work with Design and Product leadership to determine feature roadmaps and contribute to the vision for Creator learning and success.
• Work with Product and Engineering partners to represent the design team, facilitate design discussions, and give concise feedback on planning and product direction.
• Partner with the Engineering team to provide a high-quality implementation of delightful product experiences.
• Work in close collaboration with the Design leadership team to evolve design processes and foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration and innovation.
• Have opportunities to present your work to executive leadership.
• You'll report to the Director of Product Design

You Are:

• Experienced with 5+ years of professional experience as a UX or product designer with several years operating in a lead capacity or at a principal level. You have a Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Instructional Design, or equivalent work experience.
• A Leader who manages design quality and cohesion across your area of expertise, while engaging with other designers to help them grow.
• A Systems Thinker that advocates for holistic and connected user experiences.
• A Problem Solver who has a tuned thought process that yields creative solutions to big challenges across end-to-end learning journeys.
• A compelling storyteller who can articulate new concepts clearly through verbal, written, and visual communication. You can communicate your ideas effectively through journey maps, wireframes, user flows, and prototypes.
• Investigative and inquisitive about product goals from both a company's and user's perspective, promoting a learning culture both within the Product Design team and the larger Roblox organization.
• Innovative and produce designs that are cohesive with the rest of Roblox's products.
• Motivated and always expanding your skills by looking for new tools and techniques.
