In this Senior Web UX/UI Designer role, you will play a critical role in shaping the customer journey at Kong. You will help create impactful digital experiences for the company website and other digital properties. This role will report to the Lead Brand & Communications Designer.

What You'll Do

Create impactful digital experiences for the Kong website and other public-facing digital properties that move the needle
Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders in Marketing, Web Development, Product and beyond to ensure every touchpoint of the customer journey is cohesive, successful and delightful
Execute forward-thinking digital design and web experiences from concept to final hand-off to developers, including microsites, landing pages, email templates and more
Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes and storyboards to effectively communicate design ideas and present key deliverables to stakeholders
Build out and maintain an interactive design system for use across Kong’s digital properties
Drive usability testing to validate designs

Who You Are

5+ years of relevant web UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, including Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate design ideas clearly and concisely
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, effective at building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
Strong understanding of UX and UI design principles and techniques, design systems, typography and color
Ability to understand and convert complex, technical concepts into visually appealing, functional designs and user-friendly experiences
Understanding of web performance analytics and strategies, with the ability to articulate design solutions based on qualitative and quantitative research data
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and drive results in a fast-paced environment
Strong aesthetic sensitivity, with a keen eye for the latest design trends and technologies
Creative problem-solving
Motivated self-starter
Startup experience in the technology sector preferred
