Senior Visual Designer

SoundCloud is seeking a talented and versatile senior brand and interactive designer with interstellar conceptual and visual design skills to join our creative team. As a key member, you will be crucial in shaping and enhancing our brand identity through compelling visual designs and interactive experiences. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in brand design, motion design, 3D design, typography, illustration, and graphic design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions that align with our brand strategy and elevate our visual presence across various digital touchpoints. All the while, you can conceive a solution and independently take it to a final polished creative. You can work on diverse projects ranging from marketing and product design to advertising. Responsibilities:

• Developed and executed brand concepts, designs, and layouts for various product collateral. 
• Create visually stunning and engaging motion graphics and animations for brand videos, digital advertisements, and interactive media. 
• Designed and produced 3D assets, including graphic and interactive visualisations for the product, environments, and animations, to enhance our brand and product.
• Apply solid typographic skills to create visually appealing, cohesive designs that convey the brand's messaging and values. 
• Produce high-quality illustrations that capture the brand's essence and resonate with our target audience. 
• Collaborate closely with the product design teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of design solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate our brand design strategies. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, interaction design or a related field. 
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a brand or interactive designer. 
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand design, motion design, 3D design, typography, illustration, and graphic design. 
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, or similar tools. 
• Solid understanding of design principles, colour theory, layout composition, and typography. 
• Experience with 3D design software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender) and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is highly desirable. 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate and defend design concepts to stakeholders. 
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual consistency.
