About the Team

Postman’s Design System team’s mission is to build a system that allows all designers to quickly create pixel-perfect UI mockups, and prototypes, but it doesn’t stop there, the team also maintains the brand from illustrations to icons and visuals that go into the product and beyond. As a Senior Visual Designer at Postman, you will be a core member of the Design Systems team who will help us achieve this mission and raise the bar of our Visual Design. In the next year, our goal is to have a complete design system with design tools, resources, UI components, patterns, illustrations, graphics and usage guidelines with working code. You will help us create quality illustrations, graphics, animations and visuals as well as actively contribute to our design system and help with its adoption among product designers and marketing teams. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall brand, product and design direction of the whole company
• Work cross-functionally with growth, marketing, engineering and other partners
• Use and evolve our internal design system
• Ensure a high-quality implementation while working closely with teams

Requirements for the role

• Experience in building a brand system
• A portfolio showcasing excellent design skills. Proficient with using Adobe suite. (Postman uses Illustrator, Photoshop, and Aftereffects and Procreate.)
• Motion design and illustration skills
• Strong understanding of layouts and typography and is able to combine their skills and work closely with product teams and the marketing team to deliver design experiences that are delightful inside the product and outside
• Innovates and has the drive to push design further and explore new directions whiles being receptive to feedback
• Mindful of prioritization and understands what is important and when
• Is good at providing direction and informing design to improve overall brand
