Senior UX Researcher

What you’ll be responsible for as a Senior UX Researcher at albelli-Photobox Group

We’re looking for a talented (Dutch speaking) Senior UX Researcher to help shape practice, process and reputation to improve the way we conduct research across all customer touch points.

You’ll work closely with online and offline teams to support a backlog of projects as we are shaping the UX Research Vision and evolving the way that we support Product Design across 3 visual identities, 15 countries and 3 platforms (app, web and desktop).

In the first few months you’ll focus on:

1. Leading business as usual research in collaboration with Product teams
2. Coaching designers with their ad hoc usability testing - but also rolling out a training framework, to improve self serve
3. Driving creative and efficient ways to collect, analyse (quant and qual) and story-board customer feedback that will inform roadmaps

The impact you’ll make:

You’ll be supporting a multi-year, organisation-wide simplification program. Amongst other goals, this program will bring all of our customers onto a single platform.

Other responsibilities include:

• Advocating a ‘new’ research process that widens the definition of UX research, from usability testing to surveys, trends, industry reports and UX/UI principles
• Supporting the team to build a strong research proposition across the company - engaging cross-functionally - to drive change through customer feedback
• Supporting the Head of Research with strategic visionary projects and act not only as a service to requests, but as an influencer in business focus

Experience & Attributes:

• You are skilled in quant research - Analysing qual and quant data - and bringing different data sets together
• You are skilled in or have knowledge of Interaction Design
• Can translate customer-facing research into English and Dutch
• Working agile - speed and quality is at the forefront of what you do
• Understanding the interplay between business requirements, product strategy and user experience
• Leading on UX research that includes creative, unbiased surveys and scripts and engaging recommendations (e.g. personas, journeys)
• Communicating clearly and succinctly - you are confident in facilitating stakeholder conversions (briefings, workshops)
• Moderating individual and focus groups (online and in-person) and running remote, asynchronous testing on a platform

• Mentoring team members to learn research techniques
• GDPR best practice and market research codes of conduct

Nice to Have Experience:

• Knowledge of German, French, Spanish language is a bonus
• You have or would like to deliver external talks and papers

Hybrid Working

We ask that the team spend a minimum of 10% of their month in the office, but team members typically choose to spend 1-2 days a week in person with colleagues.
