ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior UX Researcher with a focus on Mixed Methods at Ada you will be working with several cross-functional delivery teams dedicated to creating the best Ada user experience. You will be responsible for user research activities supporting product development in line with Ada’s vision. 

As UX researchers at Ada, we are on a mission to understand Ada’s current and future users - their needs, experiences, and the contexts they live in. At the same time we are dedicated to identifying new opportunities for Ada to create user-centered and safe products and services. 

Our research insights guide Ada teams and partners throughout the product development process. We work in close collaboration with product designers, but also with product managers, engineers, business developers, doctors, translators and more!

You will be part of a vibrant community of creative thinkers and we know we’re only as good as our people. So, finding the best people is everything to us. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Work with several product teams across Ada to tackle upcoming research requests, scope and prioritize these 
• Be accountable and proactively shape the research process according to the identified research needs in close alignment with your key stakeholders
• Identify synergies between research requests and projects to ensure a unified Ada user experience across users and geographies
• Communicate insights to a wider group of stakeholders and ensure knowledge transfer across teams and functions by compelling presentations that support informed decision making
• Facilitate a range of different workshop formats to support product discovery  
• Give and seek feedback regularly, willing to present work and evengalise research best practices within the product design team
• Actively shape the research discipline at Ada by re-thinking ways of working, helping to adopt new practices and tools

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

• You have 5+ years of experience working as a UX researcher directly supporting product development
• You have a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Research, Psychology, Social Science, Anthropology, Human Factors or related fields
• Demonstrable experience in running both exploratory and evaluative research projects from start to finish
• You have a proven record of using quantitative methods to inform your research (e.g surveys, user analytics, ...) 
• Flexibility to work in ambiguous situations, creating clarity without direction
• Ability to scope research for projects of varying size and manage them successfully
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present work to larger groups and stakeholders
• Enthusiasm to mentor fellow researchers and to openly share knowledge
• Passion for the research discipline as well as the healthcare ecosystem and current trends
