About the role:

The product team is expanding and needs experienced designers. Our production ambitions for 2022 and the next years are thrilling.

You will be part of our Product Design group in a creative and a collaborative environment dedicated to design and user experience within the Product team. Your role will be to facilitate and organize user research within the product team. You will have to develop the teams on their user research practices on the scale of several European markets.

Your missions:

  • Work closely with the product teams to identify research questions, design and execute on various research methods, identifying the best methodology and executing within timeline and project requirements.
  • Responsible for planning, recruiting and moderating research for both generative and evaluative research.
  • Leverage user interviews, surveys, user testing sessions, focus groups, A/B Testing, benchmarking and other qualitative research activities to deepen our understanding of the users
  • Analyze and summarize all the material gathered during research into impactful and actionable user insights and recommendations.
  • Lead user panels (internal and customers)
  • Centralize customer insights (study reports, video recordings, verbatims, etc.)
  • Generate and communicate compelling and actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative data to help product teams with design decisions and product strategy.
  • Play an active role in building our UX Research practice: tools, workflows, best-pratices, knowledge base.

The experience we require:

  • At least 5 years experience in hands-on user researcher in fast-paced environments, in a creative agency or consumer-driven business
  • You have a broad knowledge of qualitative research methods as well as a range of research tools and platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Good at interacting with people, conducting interviews that produce unbiased results and facilitating user testing sessions or workshops.
  • Good at designing and executing research plans thanks to your strong time-management, organisation and ownership qualities.
  • You are a team player - you always demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude and want to work in a team
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is key to your role and to the design team in general.
  • Creativity & proactivity - you can find creative and simple solutions to tricky problems, using new approaches, tools and/or testing new ways of leveraging data

Other qualities that would add value:

  • Entrepreneurial experience.
  • Experience working with small retailers or brands.
  • German, Dutch or Spanish is a plus.
