WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior UX Researcher to work on our AI and Analytics products. In this role, you will conduct UX research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform product development and design decisions. You will work across 2-3 cross-functional product teams, helping them gather insights that inform product strategy as well as enabling them to ask and answer questions on their own. You will tackle greenfield and net-new product opportunities, drawing from your extensive expertise in mixed-methods research, creativity, and critical thinking. You will bring teams along on the journey of your discoveries, collaborating closely with PMs, designers, data scientists, and other cross-functional partners.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years experience conducting qualitative and quantitative UX research, ideally informing AI / analytics products and features
  • Experience leveraging a broad range of research methodologies across the various stages of product development, informing both strategic and tactical decisions
  • An excellent communicator, dynamic cross-functional partner, and excelling in presenting findings to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership
  • Track record of influencing product roadmaps and design decisions, especially ones that may be complex or ambiguous in nature, demonstrated by a strong research portfolio and compelling storytelling
  • Background in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, or similar

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $154,700 and $163,800/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $170,000 and $180,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
