About Us:

Mitte is on a mission to provide healthy hydration for every body. Having created the world's first smart water system inspired by the natural water cycle, we are driven to reinvent how water is consumed globally. Our solution allows users to create personalized mineralized water at home, giving them control over their drinking water while minimizing plastic wastage. We just launched our first product - the Mitte Home - in November 2021, and our product offer will be extended into an ecosystem covering all user touchpoints from home, on the go, and at work. Our process works in two simple steps. First, we purify water with proprietary technology. After purification, water is mineralized through a unique, patent-pending mineralization process. 

Mitte was initiated at the beginning of 2016 in Berlin. Our international team consists of close to 70 members from over twenty countries across six continents and is backed by experienced global investors who share our sustainable vision and Manifesto. We are an entrepreneurial group excited about using engineering and design to bring innovative and sustainable products to the market.  

The Role:

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our team and take ownership of the entire digital user journey. As a Senior UX Designer at our startup, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our e-Commerce webshop and integrated apps. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for our customers as they interact with our digital products. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the larger product strategy and vision.

Your Responsibilities:

• Own the user experience of all digital touchpoints, particularly apps and webshop
• Co-own the user experience of all user touchpoints
• Design intuitive and seamless user experiences for our customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, product managers, and marketing professionals to bring your designs to life
• Contribute to the larger product strategy and vision
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices

Your Profile:

A strong portfolio of UX design work, this means you can demonstrate experience in the following areas:

• Interaction Design
• Usability + Persuasive Design
• Prototyping
• Information Architecture
• UX Strategy
• UX Writing

• 5+ years experience designing digital user experiences
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles
• Experience designing for eCommerce platforms and mobile apps
• Experience with IoT or integrated apps a strong plus
• Familiarity with Figma
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for creating exceptional digital experiences
