This opportunity is a part of Blink's Embedded practice which supports long-term opportunities with some of Blink’s largest client partners.

About the position
- Develop a deep understanding of our product and user base and be part of the team that defines the product functionality and features.
- Work as part of highly experienced design, product, engineering and business teams to build out best in class user experience that will become the foundation of a high growth client facing product.
- Ability to take an idea, a problem or need, apply design thinking to create thought-provoking concepts, tell a compelling story and see it through to the entire UX process.
- Proven ability to execute across the UX spectrum including concepting, user research, usability testing and detailed design production.
- You are focused on your users' needs and create designs that are not only purposeful, efficient, usable, and delightful.
- Translate complex data requirements into visually appealing data visualizations and metrics.
- Use data driven evidence to inform your designs; and always validate your designs as part of your process.
- You are detail obsessed, you’re not only thorough in ensuring all aspects of a feature is considered e.g. workflows, edge cases, error handling, but also in visual aspects of your designs.
- You have a flexible approach, and can change gears or pivot directions quickly when required.
- You are curious, unafraid to challenge status quo, can think laterally and ask the right questions.
Your background
- At least 6-8 years of professional experience designing innovative digital products
- Bachelor Degree or Masters in Design, Human Factors, Industrial Design or related fields
- Proficient in Figma
- Experience defining and communicating a vision for the product experience to all audiences including senior executives
- Great presentation, workshop and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organization skills
- Experience working in Agile or sprint-based environment
- Experience in designing enterprise or complex applications
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services or investment banking
