Senior User Researcher

Wish has an exciting opportunity for a User Researcher to help strengthen the foundation of our User Research team. User Researchers at Wish inspire product innovation by building a deep understanding of users’ behavior and turn qualitative user research into insights to advise strategic directions and generate opportunities for product optimization. Together with the cross functional teams, they impact the Wish buyer journey and revolutionize the digital shopping experience.

Successful candidates will have solid experience in formulating and executing well thought out research, and the proven ability to collaborate with cross functional team members to drive understanding of our users, success of our products and growth of our business. As a member of this team, you will be empowered and motivated to create business impact via the application of user research.

What you'll be doing:

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams of product managers, product designers, data scientists, user researchers, UX writers and engineers to drive research effort towards creating an engaging mobile shopping experience
• Define, plan and execute research throughout the product development cycle 
• Generate and deliver compelling and timely insights to help drive evidence-based product and design decisions
• Plan and facilitate workshops/discussions with stakeholders to align with business needs
• Play the role of a storyteller to communicate insights and findings across organizations to connect with and motivate internal audiences

• 3+ years of experience in conducting hands on user research, and generating actionable insights with demonstrable impact to inform business strategy and product decisions 
• Experience in collaborating with product, design, engineering and data science teams to identify business requirements and translate them into research goals to define measurable success
• Proven ability to identify the right methods to conduct effective research in order to discover / develop strategic opportunities and drive business outcomes from identifying customer needs
• Demonstrate professional communication skills to advocate for the users by generating a user focused perspective to persuade different audiences
• Biased towards action, and comfortable with ambiguity coupled with the ability to juggle overlapping projects in a fast paced environment
• Familiarity with quantitative research including survey design and data analysis
