Senior UI Designer job at Laced

We seek an experienced UI Designer with hands-on experience designing intuitive and engaging digital experiences. You will be equally passionate about every pixel as you are about zooming out and viewing the larger strategic picture. You keep data and customer insights at the heart of your design process and constantly strive to learn everything you can about your customers. You will join a growing multi-disciplined product team that is on a mission to scale up the business.

What will you do?

Designing beyond aesthetic excellence and intuitive user experiences
Working end-to-end on our products from discovery, definition, and development through to delivery and iteration.
Rapid interactive prototyping & iterating designs based on user feedback and market research.
Shaping our visual style and championing our brand guidelines
Contributing and maintaining our design system to drive efficiency and design consistency.
Understand the KPIs and design solutions to achieve the business/customers goals, and measure impact and validate progressHelp facilitate discovery workshops, design sprints and ideation sessions.
Employing your problem-solving skills to push what's possible on both a creative and technical level.
Partnering with Engineering to get rapid feedback on feasibility and monitor product quality as far as UX and UI before it's shipped.
Help to optimise our ways of working as we scale at pace.

About You

You are a remarkable Designer with a solid track record of delivering impactful product experiences that have achieved commercial success.
You are a master in design fundamentals (e.g. hierarchy of information, typography, grid systems, white space, colour theory, etc.) and knitting them together with strong attention to detail.
You have an agile mindset and embrace the process of rapid prototyping for product experiments.
You are a mobile design magician and Figma wizard!
You champion human-centred and inclusive design and accessibility
You have strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate your designs, making for a strong visual aesthetic.
You understand the design patterns behind habit-forming products.
You focus on how our product can create value for our users.
You always leverage insights to prioritise your product and design decisions.
Your unwavering curiosity never stops you from learning and advancing.
You are comfortable giving and receiving feedback to improve the product.
You love people and quickly build strong partnerships.

Qualifications

5+ years experience working in Product working with Product Managers and Engineers in an agile environment
3+years in building and managing design systems
Proficient in interactive prototyping using Figma
Experience with Google Analytics (Mixpanel is a bonus)
