Senior Technical Writer-Identity/Fraud Space - Contractor Role

What to expect from the role?

A Senior Technical Writer Contractor with technical experience and knowledge of the identity/fraud space will be responsible for creating technical content and documentation for our products and services.

How will your day look like at Bureau?

• Write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and developer guides

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to understand technical details and requirements

• Develop a deep understanding of our products and services and how they fit into the identity/fraud space

• Ensure that all technical and non-technical documentation meets the needs of the target audience and is technically accurate

• Create diagrams and other visuals to support technical documentation

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and the identity/fraud space

What does it take to be in this role?

• 5+ years of experience as a technical writer in the identity/fraud space or related field

• Strong technical background and knowledge of identity/fraud solutions, including authentication, authorization, identify verification, and fraud prevention

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Git, and Jira

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, technical writing, or a related field is preferred

Location: Remote

This is a contract position and can be done remotely. We are looking for a candidate who is available for full-time or part-time work and can start immediately.
