About the role
We’re currently looking for an experienced Technical Writer to build and maintain a unified, clear, and timely knowledge base for the AMPECO Platform.
Your Responsibilities
- Write about technical subjects for technical and nontechnical audiences;
- Create scripts for video tutorials;
- Maintain the existing documentation;
- Adhere to the in-house style guide;
- Create infographics and screenshot markups;
- Create and build knowledge articles, including how-to sections, FAQs, and Help sections;
- Update, edit, and proofread written materials such as product manuals, user manuals, how-to guides, and FAQs;
- Work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, developers, product, marketing and sales teams;
- Assist the Solution Consultants, when needed, regarding the creation and/or editing of RFP and tender-related materials.
Must have
- English – fluent C1/C1+, native could be a benefit;
- 2-3 years of technical writing experience (Portfolio of technical writing samples for review);
- Ability to write user-friendly, engaging articles about highly technical subjects;
- Ability to understand and accurately translate technical information for the general audience;
- Skillful in managing efficient relationships with various stakeholders (e.g. Product Managers/Owners);
- Excellent communicator, comfortable explaining technical problems and plans in person and in writing;
- Highly efficient in a fast-paced, agile startup environment; Ability to prioritise multiple simultaneous deadlines;
- Detail-oriented with excellent self-motivation, planning, documentation and communication skills.
Considered an advantage
- Experience with documentation publishing software, such as MadCap, RoboHelp, Wikis or other applicable;
- Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira) is a plus;
- Teaching, grant writing, or scientific publishing experience is a plus.
