As Senior Technical Product Manager of the Core Marketplace and Journey Enablers teams you will have to provide, innovate on and maintain shared core business functional capabilities consumed by all Product and Engineering tribes. You will ensure clear ownership, documentation, and cross-tribe alignment on capabilities such as reservations, offers, availability, tag management, channel management, debt management.
Also, you will have to support stream-aligned teams focus on value creation, by providing suitable, easy-to-use, and reusable technical components for business-agnostic solutions: transactional communications, authentication, localisation, Geo referential, tracking, consent management, AB tests, feature flagging.
You will conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, partners needs and competitors to drive your vision.
As Product Manager of Core Teams, you will build a product strategy that allows agnostic integration with partners and the right level of feature abstraction for marketplace components
You will have to ensure long term perspective within the scope, considering the long term impact of your vision and how it fits into the company's broader product strategy.
You will manage the scope of 2 engineering teams. Even though both are Core Teams, their scope is not strictly related. You will work with the Heads of the Tribe to define, for each team, clear priorities that align with the overall product and company goals and measure the progress towards teams’ goals.
The scope of the mission is very technical, nevertheless we expect a strong focus on business outcomes, in order to solve real user problems and provide value.
Therefore it is important to develop a thorough understanding of company’s objectives as well as the strategy of your stakeholders
You will need to collaborate with other engineering teams and stakeholders which include mainly marketing teams, business development & operations and customer support. Stakeholders communication and management is key in shaping the vision, ensuring feasibility of the projects and alignment on the expectations.
You are expected to communicate effectively and to be able to coordinate and project manage, to ensure everyone understands its role and responsibilities.
You will be in direct contact with 3rd party providers and you will also take care of the relationship with them. You will also directly participate in the negotiations.
You will work on product execution, including backlog prioritization, roadmap definition, functional specifications, product iterations and QA.
At TheFork, we value the strong leadership duo made of the Product Manager and Engineering Manager to lead Software Development teams. Therefore, you are expected to create a strong working relationship with the Engineering Managers of Core Marketplace team and Journey Enablers Team. It is key to the success of good working engineering teams and product execution.
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our Product team techniques & ways of working by sharing and leveraging your past experiences, engaging in knowledge sharing and mentorship.
