Senior Technical Product Manager - Mobile Platform (all genders)

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager (all genders) for our Mobile Platform engineering team. The Mobile Platform Team exists to empower and support the suite of cross-functional teams in our organization, providing a robust, consistent, and efficient mobile platform upon which feature teams can build, innovate, and deliver outstanding user experiences for our learners. Responsibilities include mobile infrastructure, tooling, CI/CD and process, as well as enhancing and supporting platform components such as our design system..

In your role as TPM you will work closely together with the Engineering Manager of the team and align outcome-based requirements with key stakeholders from product, quality or engineering teams. With your experience balancing priorities you can build a roadmap to deliver the biggest business impact for our learners and improve the efficiency of software development internally.

You will:

• Closely work with the team and their stakeholders to properly align business needs, efficiency improvements, maintain a holistic view of the product experience and build strong partnerships with key functions
• Together with the Engineering Manager, manage a product backlog to facilitate a constant stream of valuable work for the team; continuously improve the team’s ways of working (agile ceremonies, best practices, team agreement, etc.)
• Improve the reliability of our releases by fostering a culture of continuous testing and ownership of quality across all mobile teams
• Communicate decisions and pertinent information, e.g. release or amendment to tooling, to the rest of the company
• Drive mobile platform projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with business objectives and OKRs

You have:

• 5+ years experience working as a TPM collaborating with a huge variety of stakeholders
• Good understanding of the unique challenges in mobile development and the process of building, releasing, and distributing Android and iOS apps.
• Pragmatic approach and a considered bias to action
• A proven ability to drive business value through strategic guidance and organization of a mobile platform team
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Been working with AppStores (Apple and Google) or been working together with AppStore managers in your company
