Toast’s Foundation Product Team is looking for a Technical Product Manager who is passionate about ensuring our developers have the right set of tools and service frameworks that empower them to accelerate code development in order to optimise lead time to value. If you love working across lots of teams in a fast-paced and growing company to ensure Developers have the right service frameworks then this could be the roll* for you.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Understand the needs of the developer for creating and maintaining services
  • Deliver a services framework and application library strategy and roadmap to maximise developer productivity and meet developer needs
  • Build a strategy and a roadmap for abstracting and centralising access to 3rd party services
  • Collaborate with the Platform teams to drive features on their roadmaps in order to implement the full customer journey
  • Work closely with our developer enablement team to ensure standardisation of service development across R&D
  • Drive adoption programs for the uptake of technologies and frameworks across the organisation 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Proven track record of Product management in infrastructure and platform domain
  • Experience driving cross-function initiatives and influencing technical roadmaps
  • Knowledge of APIs, microservice architecture, and service frameworks
  • Exposure to Cloud technologies
  • Track record of successfully driving technology transformations across a company
  • BSc in Computer Science, CompEng, or equivalent technical field
