About the Opportunity
As a Senior Technical Product Manager, Data Platform, you will partner with our Engineering leads to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our core data platform, enabling seamless data processing, storage, and analysis across a broad set of internal and customer-facing use cases that will enable us to predict and meet the current and future needs of our internal and external stakeholders and customers with a data platform that's robust in terms of scale, data quality and analyst ease of use. You will quickly develop a deep understanding of data-driven use cases, collaborate cross-functionally and drive stakeholder alignment, and employ your expertise to help the team effectively prioritize the most impactful near-term and long-term investments. You will also serve as a thought-leader in the organization as we scale our data platform, consider the possible scale impact of future applications of data-centric products and AI use cases in our platform, and guide those building on our data platform.

- Provide thought leadership on data platform scalability and strategic investments that will enable us to leverage our data in support of future AI or other data-driven use cases.
- Be a partner for others on the Product team, enabling other Product Managers to do responsible discovery, understand the implications of decisions, and build scalable solutions for our customers
- Evangelizing use of the Data Platform across internal teams, and helping drive understanding of its’ value and how to use it
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in data engineering, cloud computing, and distributed systems, integrating innovative solutions where applicable.
- Collaborate with Data Platform engineering to define ‘golden paths’ for platform users, ensuring efficient and standardized access for analysts, engineers, and others building data-driven applications at Salsify.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineering leadership to align roadmaps and identify overlapping initiatives.
- Support Engineering in maintaining compliance with regulations such as SOC and GDPR, ensuring visibility into data provenance, usage and governance.
