About the Role

We are excited to grow our team with a Senior Technical Product Manager. We’re redefining the car rental experience and need an innovative individual to increase Kyte's marketplace.

What You'll Do

Build out core foundational service algorithms (pricing, matching, & risk) to improve efficiency and automation
Specify algorithms to increase the number of successful matches of surfers with deliveries/returns of cars
Improve the risk engine to decrease the risk of fraudulent users
Work closely with the engineering and growth teams as well as surfers and users to collect qualitative and quantitative data on purchase/acceptance decisions, discover solutions to existing problems, and prioritize product solutions
Discover the best practices and explore solutions for marketplace pricing and vehicle lifecycle
Improve the quality and breadth of current data input sources
Improve quality and breadth of data input sources
Guide an interdisciplinary sprint team (3-4 engineers, 1 data scientist/product analyst) to implement algorithm improvements, and experiments (Sprint planning & prioritization, retro, bug triage, stand-ups)

Required

Product management experience 4+ years
Experience working cross-functionally with engineers
Machine Learning experience
Software engineering degree
Algorithm design experience

Preferred

Engineering degree
Experience with Marketplace pricing
Experience in startups
Prior mobility experience
