Bolt is aggressively hiring in our tech organization to face the many challenges ahead. Bolt’s Commerce Platform team sits at the core of our business by creating a single integration layer for all e-commerce systems. Today, the e-commerce market is split across platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, and Salesforce. To effectively build products for merchants across all platforms, developers must spend time learning and developing for niche applications for all platforms. Bolt is looking to change that story by building one single integration layer for all eCommerce platforms. As Product Manager of the Commerce Platform, your mission will be to drive the vision & roadmap for a universal integration layer for all eCommerce systems. To excel in this role you will need to have a mix of technical expertise and business thought leadership. You will need to be structured in your thinking, customer and quality obsessed, able to work directly with partners, and willing to move fast and iterate. You will partner with engineering, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive short-term results as well as long-term innovation. Lastly, you need to be comfortable moving into uncharted territories building products and features outside of your areas of expertise.

What You’ll Do

Craft a compelling vision for Bolt’s long term impact on the developer community for e-commerce.
Seek out customer, data, and design-driven insight and use that insight to help your team clear plans, priorities, and goals for your team.
Consistently deliver high-quality new products and features while improving the reliability of what already exists.
Set audacious goals for your area’s impact on the overall organization and regularly hit them.
Speak the language of the engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market functions to coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives.
Translate long-term vision into clear actionable next steps for engineering teams.

What Excites Us

You resonate with developers as a customer, and you know their pain points intimately because you’ve had prior software engineering experience
5+ years of experience as a product manager
A clear history of delivering high-quality products
Data-oriented mindset and customer-obsessed curiosity. Proficient with SQL.
Strong communication skills for complex product, engineering, and design ideas
Extremely organized and able to quickly digest and organize complex information
Formal Computer Science/Engineering degree or background
