As the Product Manager, you work on the core of our value proposition: to make sure that content can be organised in a way that access, findability and distribution of content becomes a breeze.

You as the Product Manager for the team will be responsible for the product roadmap, stakeholder management, and identify the right opportunities and problems to solve, to help our customers succeed!

About the role

Bynder is seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Product Manager to spearhead the evolution of our Asset Domain, the backbone of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. This role is pivotal in enhancing the scalability, performance, and extensibility of our asset capabilities, including lifecycle management, file processing through converters and extractors, and other advanced functionalities. You’ll collaborate closely with our technical platform teams and the teams delivering user-facing experiences to create robust solutions and APIs tailored to the complex needs of our enterprise customers.

What you’ll do 

Technical product leadership: Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Bynder’s asset domain and core services, ensuring clear alignment with strategic business goals

API design and development: Drive the design, delivery, and standardization of scalable, developer-friendly APIs, empowering both technical teams and user-facing experiences

Cross-functional collaboration: Partner effectively with platform and engineering teams, UX designers, QA engineers, and fellow product teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality product outcomes

Customer-centric approach: Engage proactively with internal stakeholders as key customers, as well as external customers, partners, and system integrators, to capture feedback, validate product decisions, and respond effectively to evolving market needs

Technology awareness: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to file conversion, extraction, asset processing, and lifecycle management to ensure Bynder remains competitive and innovative

What you’ll bring

Technical experience: 5+ years of experience in technical product management roles, ideally with a background in software engineering or related technical discipline

API expertise: Proven success in designing, delivering, documenting, and maintaining scalable, developer-friendly RESTful APIs

Technical fluency: Deep familiarity with backend architectures, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, file processing technologies, and storage solutions (object storage and databases)

Communication skills: Strong ability to clearly articulate complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment

Collaborative mindset: Demonstrated skill in building alignment, influencing without direct authority, and driving cross-functional consensus

Agility and adaptability: Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with experience managing iterative product development cycles

Problem-solving skills: Ability to proactively identify opportunities, troubleshoot challenges, and quickly iterate toward solutions in complex technical environments

Curiosity and drive: A self-starter with a passion for exploring the latest AI tools, staying on top of industry developments, and continuously pushing boundaries

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
