Senior Subscription Management Product Owner

This position can be office-based or fully remote from one of the following countries: Germany, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, or the UK.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Subscription Management Product Owner to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in evolving our finance system landscape with a focus on a key area of our lead-to-cash process, thus contributing directly to Personio’s growth journey.

• System ownership: Holistic responsibility for the administration of Personio’s Subscription Management & Billing system including its data model, business processes and security configuration
• Technical consulting: Provide advice to different teams and initiatives within Personio concerning technical revenue management and billing elements (e.g. setup of guardrails for subscriptions, new payment methods or similar). Drive localization measures
• Integrations: Define and own the logical mappings between the subscription management system and other key business systems (e.g. CRM and ERP)
• Project management lead: Own and lead Finance-IT projects that impact the subscription management and billing functional area
• Continuous improvement: Constantly advise stakeholders in order to drive further improvements, scalability and automation in the field of subscription management. Coordinate regular training initiatives. 
• Documentation: Ensure data flows and finance processes are documented in a structured manner and aligned with internal guidelines

• At least 5 years experience with administering subscriptions management and / or billing systems like Chargebee, SuiteBilling, Zuora or similar
• You hold a degree in business administration, business information systems, computer science or similar
• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS company or in technical consulting is a big plus
• Be process-focused with a view to continuous improvements to processes that scale
• You have an affinity for system design and data, good analytical skills and a structured and independent way of working
• Ability to prioritize and navigate well in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
• Ability to deliver in a highly collaborative manner that generates buy-in and enthusiasm from peers and other stakeholders
• You are business proficient in English. German and any other European language are nice-to-have
