Senior Software Development Engineer (Product Marketing)

About The Role:

The Promotion and Offers squad works on accelerating growth for Remitly by building modern platforms and infrastructure that powers the money transfers by serving information about promotions. The team owns the entire technology backend and some front-end dashboard experience. You will enable platform for new features and migrate elements to new modern, brand new and shiny solutions. You'll work with product management, marketing and other engineering teams to achieve this goal. You'll report to the Engineering Manager for Marketing Products in Krakow.

You Will:

• Own and shape the technology stack that powers our money transfers to make them scalable and performant and highly available
• Collaborate directly with your customers (marketing team) within Remitly to develop products and features that help our customer acquisition efforts
• Learn efficiently to find information needed to unblock yourself, you will have time to do it.

You Have:

• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a software developer
• An understanding of software development best practices and software design patterns
• Expertise working full stack with one or more general purpose programming languages like Java, PHP, JavaScript, Kotlin, or Go.
• When you find the problem, you like to analyze it and go to find solutions and bring it to production.
• Work on any promotion specific service, platform or product.
