Senior Product Researcher

As a Senior Product Researcher at Lokalise, you will ensure that our teams and colleagues have a great understanding of our customers and their needs. You will utilize a variety of research methods to help increase our customer-centricity.

You will:

• Lead and oversee research for various stages of our product, from conception to launch, in partnership with product designers, product managers, engineers, UX writers, and/or content strategists
• Turn research findings into actionable insights, which are actively shared across the organization 
• Shape the vision for our product and the company as a whole
• Advocate for our customers and users, ensuring that we’re solving genuine problems
• Bring multiple stakeholders to the table to understand our customers and users
• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of the most loved translation management software in the cloud
• Advise colleagues on improving their own research projects
• Proactively request and provide feedback in order to continually raise the bar we have set for quality, while also taking on mentorship

You must have:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Product or UX Researcher within a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
• A proven track record of improving applications or software through research insights
• Significant hands-on experience across the entire toolkit of exploratory and evaluative research methods, while knowing how to choose the best method for the situation
• Experience sharing your insights, presenting your work, and writing compelling research summaries
• An ability to connect different sources of information to provide a fuller picture of the truth
• Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking while developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making recommendations based on the impact on people and the company

• Comfortable with changing demands and priorities
• A positive, self-starter with a resilient attitude and a sense of ownership
• A great communicator who can convey ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Someone who has fun working and is fun to work with!

It will be considered a significant advantage if you have:

• Experience participating in the complete product development life cycle of a SaaS product
• Experience connecting your work with other cross-functional team initiatives within the company to drive collaboration
