Sana is looking for a Senior Product Owner to drive velocity - execution speed together with value delivered - of Product-Engineering teams as we push the boundaries of delivering personalized, high-quality, affordable health benefits and care. You will play a key role on our growing cross-functional team as we distill the inordinate amount of complexity inherent in U.S. healthcare into simpler, higher value products and experiences to support internal teams, healthcare providers, employer clients and consumers.

What you will do
- Serve as Product Owner for two Prod-Eng teams
- Gather and manage the breakdown of high-level user needs and business requirements into detailed user stories and specifications
- Create and drive prioritization and refinement of team backlog given scope, time, and budget constraints to accelerate execution while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of features or components for the team
- Lead team cadence and project management to achieve team and key initiative objectives, including documenting and following-up on actions, risks identified, dependencies and timelines
- Ensure stories meet user needs and comply with the pre-determined definition of done
- Assist with decision-making and sequencing of infrastructure work to enable new business functionality
- Facilitate effective cross-functional team collaboration, including consistent, effective communication to minimize time in meetings and maximize each team members’ deep, focused work time
About you
- 3+ years of software product operations, product owner, scrum manager, product business analyst or technical project management experience
- High level knowledge of agile software development
- Ability to operate proactively and autonomously with minimal guidance
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, initiatives in a structured fashion
- Demonstrated effectiveness communicating and collaborating with cross-functional colleagues and members of leadership team
- Entrepreneurial learner

- Ability to adapt to the changing context inherent in a hyper-growth healthcare technology start up
