Senior Product Marketing Manager, Square Staff

We are looking for a strategic product marketer to join our Square Staff team. Square Staff is a workforce management suite including Shifts, Payroll, and Team Communication. Our team's mission is to tell the best possible stories of our products and ecosystem so that our sellers and their employees can thrive. As a Staff PMM, you will bring a new suite of products to market and grow adoption of multiple products through storytelling, pricing, lifecycle marketing, and other strategies.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of product strategy, funnel optimization, and marketing execution. We are looking for someone who has experience across the full acquisition funnel and product lifecycle, and is an excellent cross-functional collaborator. Reporting to the Staff PMM Lead, the Sr. Staff PMM will play a pivotal role in defining and driving marketing strategies to grow the entire portfolio of Square Staff products. This candidate should have exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

You Will:

• Develop new marketing campaigns and initiatives to introduce our new suite of products
• Partner with Product Management, Design, Data Science and Engineering to identify impactful product opportunities and prioritize efforts
• Grow adoption of an employer and employee facing mobile app
• Drive go-to-market strategies - including targeting, segmentation, positioning, value props, messaging, marketing channels, and budgets - across the customer journey to convert, grow, and retain our customers
• Partner with all customer-facing teams are on-message and maximizing each channel
• Develop and implement data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies to promote product growth and retention
• Track marketing program performance and improve through continuous testing

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience in product marketing, growth or lifecycle marketing in SMB Tech; Preference for experience designing go-to-market strategies for product launches.
• Experience working with product management, engineering, analytics and design to scale products
• Experience in growth and lifecycle marketing via email, in-product, content marketing, and other owned channels
• Ample experience working with and influencing cross-functional partners (marketing design, copywriting and web)
• Familiarity with marketing automation, A/B testing and analytics tools
• Genuine interest in and curiosity in helping small businesses succeed
