Who you are:

Fivestars by SumUp seeks a Senior Mid-Market / Enterprise Product Marketing Manager to take our payments, POS, and marketing products and make them the preferred solutions for franchise brands and mid-sized chains in the food, retail, and salon & spa verticals. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the local business space and will synthesize evolving customer needs, predict the evolution of the payments, POS, and marketing automation markets, develop positioning that resonates with enterprise customers, translate positioning into effective collateral for sales and online assets, and launch new products and features to maximize adoption and revenue.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze how our core markets are growing and changing and how competitors are positioning themselves, and articulate how our company can differentiate itself
  • Be the voice of the customer for product and engineering teams, and regularly synthesize and communicate the needs of our target audience
  • Develop target company personas and have a deep understanding of the pain points & needs of key decision makers and their stakeholders (ranging from CMO to CTO to Cashier)
  • Collaborate with the growth marketing team & sales to nurture and grow enterprise relationships with key decision makers through account based marketing
  • Translate our product and features into positioning that resonates with our target personas
  • Develop the go-to-market strategy and orchestrate the launch of new products by working closely with product, design, sales, operations, and our marketing team
  • Craft and present compelling stories to convert prospects into customers and advocates
  • Translate analytics into actionable insights for customers and their stakeholders
  • Develop and tailor marketing assets like case studies, demos, user guides for key decision makers and their stakeholders to drive adoption and internal advocacy within the customer’s organization
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, events & conferences to increase brand awareness
  • Define, test, and scale pricing that meets our economic objectives
  • Be the spokesperson for our product at conferences, events, webinars, customer meetings, etc. 

What we're looking for:

  • BA/BS degree with a strong academic background or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience with a track record of growing scope and influence managing mid-market or enterprise customer segment
  • Experience doing integrated marketing or product marketing at a fast-growing tech company; payments industry experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to deliver on deadlines and manage multiple initiatives at once; thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy
  • Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong writer & storytelling skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns including copy and assets 
  • Results-focused with a passion for exceeding measurable targets for revenue or adoption
  • Accomplished public speaker; comfortable and skilled at presenting to and gaining traction with audiences of all levels
