About the role

Our Senior Product Marketing Manager will be a Product Marketing expert with strategic thinking and a core skillset in creating complex, go-to-market content and strategies for our technology and insurance products. The role will work closely in collaboration with our broader marketing, partnerships and product team to raise awareness of our technology platforms and capabilities. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will need to be able to understand and articulate highly technical products, formulate USPs in collaboration with our comms team, train internal teams on the messaging, and work with the broader marketing team to design product-level content marketing and communications activities that align with the overall company strategy. Your enthusiasm for the technology industry, awareness of trends, knowledge of technology strategy and excellent writing capability will mean you can craft engaging and thought-provoking communications that benefit our partnership efforts.

What your work week will look like

  • Develop the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy and roadmap for a variety of technology and insurance products to increase adoption of our platforms and products.
  • Train and enable the global partnerships team with product training, messaging, positioning and win/loss analyses.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop partner-facing materials including sales decks, flyers, platform demos, partner case studies and success stories, product narratives and in-depth consumer surveys.
  • Create engaging product messaging and content for covergenius.com.
  • Undertake regular competitive analysis and communicate the findings to the rest of the team.
  • Work as the link between marketing and technology teams, helping translate product benefits, features and unique selling points into compelling marketing communications that can be distributed across events, PR, content, lead gen and email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage product launch planning and communications and work with the wider marketing team to execute promotional activities across multiple channels.
  • Development and ongoing maintenance of product positioning and messaging, including alignment with vertical USP's.
  • Development of product content including videos, case studies, long form articles, research initiatives, and whitepapers.
  • Work with the marketing team to unearth new ways to promote our products and USP’s.

What the ideal profile looks like

  • 6+ years of marketing experience at a B2B technology company.
  • Minimum of 4+ years specific product marketing within a high growth technology company.
  • Experience with a wide range of marketing channels and assets (in-product/app, email, blog, social, website, videos, events) and understanding of how to use each to achieve business goals.
  • Experience with enterprise solutions and a verticalized sales approach.
  • Experience managing market research activities as either a research project lead or primary stakeholder / marketing contributor.
  • Excellent writing skills for authoring compelling content and product messaging, with examples of user-centered written communications.
  • A strategic thinker, yet performance-driven and comfortable owning initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience managing a team of product marketers - a plus.
  • A strong insight-led approach to understanding your customer base.
  •  A willingness to roll up your sleeves and work across a wide range of responsibilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously, as the business scales to the next level.
