Wrike is the most powerful work management platform. Built for teams and organizations looking to collaborate, create, and exceed every day, Wrike brings everyone and all work into a single place to remove complexity, increase productivity, and free people up to focus on their most purposeful work.
Our vision:  A world where everyone is free to focus on their most purposeful work, together.

Ready to become a Wriker?

As a Product Manager for External Platform, you will join a team at the forefront of Wrike’s extensibility and integration strategy. This is a critical role that will shape how third-party developers extend our platform and how Wrike integrates with complementary solutions. In this role, you will lead the strategic integration with Klaxoon, a recent Wrike acquisition - focusing on delivering value to end users - while also ensuring that key integration components are reusable across the platform. As the integration matures, your focus will shift toward building Wrike’s extensibility platform, empowering partners and system integrators to create innovative solutions and expand Wrike’s ecosystem.

If you thrive on platform challenges, enjoy working across product boundaries, and can balance immediate business needs with a long-term vision, we will be happy to meet with you.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Platform Strategy: Define and execute the product strategy for Wrike's extensibility platform, including SDKs and application frameworks that enable third-party developers to build powerful integrations.
  • Developer Experience: Create world-class developer tools and documentation that make it easy for partners to extend Wrike's capabilities through custom applications, expressions, and scripts.
  • Ecosystem Development: Build and launch the Wrike marketplace for third-party solutions, establishing governance, quality standards, and go-to-market processes for app developers.
  • Partner Success: Engage with developers and integration partners to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure our platform enables their success.
  • Technical Leadership: Work closely with engineering on API design, authentication patterns, webhooks, and security frameworks. Drive decisions on platform architecture that balance flexibility with governance.
  • Strategic Integration: Lead the Klaxoon integration initiative that brings the synergy of work management with visual collaboration experience and AI-enhanced scenarios, while showcasing the extensibility platform capabilities.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and customer needs. Prioritize features and enhancements based on strategic importance and customer impact.

You will achieve your best if you have

  • Experience: 4+ years of product management, preferably with B2B SaaS products.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to different audiences.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong empathy for customers and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Platform Mindset: Proven experience building extensible platforms or developer ecosystems. Understanding of what makes platforms successful for third-party developers.
  • Enterprise Ready: Experience with enterprise requirements including security, compliance, and complex integration scenarios.
  • Innovation: Creative thinker who can drive innovative solutions that meet customer needs and enhance user experience.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and build consensus among teams. Understand the language of developers and challenge when needed.
  • Technical Depth: Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, network technologies, and platform architectures. Ability to work effectively with technical documentation and specifications. Experience as a software developer is not required, but you should be able to speak with developers about application development.

You will stand out with

  • Experience building marketplace or app store ecosystems
  • Background in workflow automation or work management products
  • Hands-on experience with modern API technologies
  • Knowledge of visual collaboration/whiteboarding tools
  • Hands-on experience launching AI-based use-cases

Why this Role Is unique

  • Platform Pioneer: You'll architect Wrike's transformation into an extensible platform, enabling an ecosystem of innovations we can't even imagine today.
  • Technical Depth: This role offers exceptional exposure to complex technical challenges while maintaining a product management focus.
