Your Role

As a Senior Product Manager responsible for Workflows and Documents management on our platform for our operation teams and customers by creating technological solutions that optimise and automate core processes at the core of our business. You will play a key role in supporting Forto’s vision and help build the backbone of global trade, to make shipping products as easy as sending emails. You will work cross-functionally with the product team collaborating with the UX & Design and engineering teams and will be expected to closely work with business functions such as operations, capacity procurement and marketing.

You will

Own the product development through a deep understanding of our operation teams and customer needs across the globe by understanding how they work, their objectives, and Forto's overall strategy
Act in a fast-paced agile team and establish product vision, develop the roadmap, product scenarios, user stories, and backlog for your products in collaboration with your development team
Be a critical part of the shipment process by owning a range of capabilities from task management and shipment health to search and document management
Partner with Forto’s UX & Design team to create simple solutions for complex problems.
Champion processes automation and simplification across the platform, leading complex initiatives, influencing and advocating for your solutions to be adopted throughout the stack
Lead requirement gathering efforts, through consulting stakeholders, analysing relevant data sources, and conducting customer research
Measure the impact of product and engineering work by implementing and tracking key metrics
Juggling competing priorities on a daily basis, finding the right balance between short-term fixes and strategic tasks

What you bring

5+ years of product management experience, including delivery of entire products, start to finish
Enthusiasm and strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across the organization. Ability to push back or challenge stakeholders in the organization while maintaining great relationships.
Solid experience in working with operation and business teams. You are an expert in process optimisation and know how to drive change management initiatives across the organisation
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail. Ability to ramp up quickly and become an expert across our business
Proven self-starter who can identify new opportunities, develop strategies to drive growth, and push projects forward, as well as a desire to push innovation
Passion for customer interaction and desire to exceed what our customers demand of us.
Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level -- within teams, within the company, to customers, and other audiences
