As a Senior Product Manager for Work Management within the Practice portfolio, you will be responsible for the product strategy of this key part of Xero Practice Manager, guiding teams on their journey through the process of defining, developing, and delivering valuable customer experiences and workflows for accountants and bookkeepers.
You will partner with other teams in Practice, Tax and across Xero to build consistent work management experiences across all of our tools and to grow Xero’s customer base.
What you'll do:
- Set the product vision and evangelise the work across our Product, Technology and Customer teams
- Create outsized impact through defining, driving and executing the product roadmap that realise the vision and ensures the customer and business success Be a great communicator who can influence through building trusting relationships and thoughtful deliberation
- Bridge UX, technical and customer worlds as you lead strong and productive relationships with stakeholders to deliver on key priorities
- Identify success metrics and track product performance in line with team the product vision, strategy and objectives
- Have a passion for representing Xero’s products and cultivate a culture that embodies the Xero values and Product principles
What you'll bring with you:
- The ability to communicate, build relationships, manage stakeholders, facilitate and collaborate to smooth the path of your product and your delivery team across the business through to market launch.
- Ability to break down complex problems, deliver real-world business outcomes and handle changing priorities.
- A passion for growing high-performing product teams, fostering an open and collaborative environment.
- Love of building beautiful, quality software, coupled with a knowledge of design thinking and product analytics.
- Previous experience as a product manager, product owner or similar role.
- Previous experience in managing others and supporting their development and growth goals.
- A history of working with designers and developers to rapidly ideate, refine and build and ship (preferably) SaaS software products.
- Experience in defining product roadmaps and strategic planning.
- Experience collaborating with a global stakeholder group to realise outcomes.
- A solid track record of addressing customer needs through innovative use of technology to deliver software at scale.
