About Vidsy
Vidsy is a multi-award-winning start-up with hubs in London (HQ), NYC, and LA to name a few, we're building the go-to platform and ecosystem for Creators and brands to work and win together! Our creative platform helps the world's best brands create effective video ads, while also providing the opportunities and tools for Creators to hone their skills, earn fair pay, and work on incredible projects. We're building a different way to create; democratising creativity and empowering brands and Creators to build value together.

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Product Engineering team and lead the development of our Creator Platform: delivering the best possible digital experience for our community of amazing Creators, and for our internal teams that work with them.

You’ll be responsible for identifying and leading initiatives that continually improve the effectiveness of our SaaS platform, leading your squad through ideation, development and launch of new products that help to turn Vidsy into a company known as much for our tech as for the content we deliver.

You’ll work closely with our existing Product Team, and partner with an Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary squad of Product Designers and Engineers. You’ll also work closely with our Exec team, our Commercial, Marketing and Creative teams, and other squads in Product Engineering.

What you'll do

  • Identifying and testing opportunities to solve more problems for our Creators, the internal teams supporting them, and anything that helps us to get the best possible content to our clients
  • Establishing product goals and an outcome-driven Product Roadmap that shows how you’re going to achieve them
  • Defining innovative products and features and leading your squad through their iterative development and launch
  • Contributing to continually improving the performance of your squad and of the wider Product Engineering team
  • Supporting the growth of the wide Vidsy Team - including mentoring, coaching and supporting hiring of additions to the Team

What you’ll bring

  • 6 plus years (or equivalent) experience in leading Product initiatives, ideally as a Product Manager within a software business
  • Clearly-defined product discovery and product delivery processes, and experience building up a product or feature set from scratch
  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals
  • Design mindset - you can envision how a user flow might work or fail, even if not skilled in design
  • You’re a highly motivated self-starter who wants to learn and improve with every opportunity
  • You’re a creative problem-solver who’s able to find viable solutions to complex problems
  • Accomplished at using data and user research to inform decision-making
  • Story-teller - you can explain the user need and communicate updates across the business
  • An excellent communicator who can distill complexity into simple ideas and can rapidly build consensus around them
  • Experience working on B2B and B2C products

Bonus for

  • MarTech/AdTech product experience
  • Experience in Creative industries, particularly Video Production

Vidsy's 'Virtual-First' Hybrid Approach
We operate a hybrid way of working we call 'virtual-first'. That means, across all our locations (London, NYC and LA), our teams work primarily remotely, with occasional in-office sessions for collaboration, client meetings, socials, and more. The nature of your role will dictate how often you attend (e.g. our Commercial Team visit the office weekly whereas our Engineering Team are typically in the office monthly), however, we're flexible, and the balance of in-office versus remote can be discussed and confirmed during the interview process.

Diversity at Vidsy
Vidsy is working hard to create a representative, inclusive and super-friendly team, because we believe different experiences, perspectives and backgrounds make a better workplace, and ultimately better products. Vidsy doesn’t discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion or belief, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital status, disability or any other protected class.
