About the role
Checkout.com is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Vault product team, based in our Tallinn office. Our passion is to change the world of online payments and the Product team sits at the heart of achieving our bold vision and goals.
The Vault Team is leading the charge to keep our customers’ data safe and abstract the complexities of compliance regulation away. Starting from payment information to minimise the PCI burden to keep the data accurate and up to date. Vault plays a meaningful role in the Checkout.com value proposition both by simplifying our merchant’s security requirements and helping optimise their payment processing performance.
You'll report to the Vault's product lead and work closely with our engineers, delivery, and business partners to help craft the future of connected finance. Acting as an important bridge between these stakeholders, you'll understand desired outcomes for our clients, elicit requirements and then translate them into coherent functionalities that can be implemented for our innovative and groundbreaking products. We work in an agile and very dynamic environment, requiring you to be flexible and adaptable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the core advocate for the team and product with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the strategy, vision, and roadmap from inception to delivery together with the Engineering Manager
  • Collaborate with a wide range of people to understand requirements, set shared expectations, and effectively prioritize the product roadmap to unlock the most value for our customers
  • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers as well as stay on top of industry trends to help advise the strategic vision of the product
  • Drive commercial enablement to empower our business partners to sell the Vault product with confidence
  • Work with Engineering and Delivery to deliver holistic value-adding solutions, identifying and managing delivery risks, whilst ensuring alignment with cross-team dependencies
  • Communicate product and process changes to stakeholders across the business and be the subject matter expert for the Vault

About You:

  • 4+ years of hands-on Product Manager experience in a fast-paced Technology start-up
  • Able to work under pressure, balance multiple priorities and consistently meet tight deadlines
  • Superb communication skills, ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to drive outcomes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Subject matter expert in a complex product
  • Aspiration to grow your product management skills within a fast-paced tech startup
  • Understands the FinTech market – preferably Payments
  • A passionate reader of all technology publications and blogs
  • Degree Educated or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in English
