Senior Product Manager

The Opportunity:

UserTesting produces thousands of hours of video and audio of real human feedback, usage data from websites, mobile apps and their topologies, and much more every day. We are working hard to unlock the value of this data for the benefit of both our customers and our test participants. Our customers come in all shapes and sizes from early-stage start-ups to some of the world’s largest companies, with different roles and teams, from one to hundreds of users of our platform.

We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to join our Product and Engineering team and help build the platform powering the Human Insights Platform. You are a self motivated product obsessed product manager, solutions consultant or engineer with experience in delivering enterprise grade products and management practices, who wants to build amazing data products for developers.

You will lead these efforts collaboratively across the company, with your main stakeholders being the application development teams using these capabilities. Working closely with your Design and Engineering peers, and our external vendors you will drive the whole product life cycle from concept to end-of-life and track your features’ success after release.

Partnering with the Engineering, Design, and Security teams to ensure the right definition and delivery for every initiative, you will be establishing goals early in the life cycle, define key metrics and continuously communicate the state of planning, delivery, and risk. You will be building products that power our engineering organization, we deliver technology solutions that empower UserTesting’s strategic goals. This team rolls their sleeves up and dreams big while delivering value predictably.

Your objective is to deliver a world class solution that lets us manage:

• Data empowerment: Leverage our proprietary data sets to unlock value for all developers across the company to build data driven solutions
• Machine learning: Work with world class machine learning engineers, data scientists, and data engineers to create novel data sets proliferating development teams building new ai powered features
• Microservices program management: Help our developers execute large scale projects by unpacking requirements into coherent capabilities
• Compliance: Ensure that our data platform facilitates easy adherence to laws, policies, processes and standards

You will lead these efforts collaboratively across the company, with your main stakeholders being the platform and application development teams using these capabilities. Working closely with your Design and Engineering peers, and our external vendors you will drive the whole product life cycle from concept to end-of-life and track your features’ success after release.

What we are looking for:

• An obsession with product development in high growth SaaS environment 
• Experience with a product based development approach to data, data tools and platforms
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit of owning solutions and collaboratively attacking problems
• Expert collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of the product function in platform product management
• Developing and monitoring clear performance metrics, setting objectives and tracking progress against them in transparent, measurable ways
• Genuine interest in helping your colleagues grow and develop their careers

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Working in a highly distributed organisation
• Public APIs and Developer Portals
• AI / ML / Data as as Service / Data as a Product
• Overall Customer Experience in the SaaS space
