When applying, please mention you found this role on WeLoveProduct - it helps Spotify track where great candidates come from 🙌
We’re looking for a passionate Senior Product Manager to join the User Fraud R&D Studio at Spotify to help us protect our platform against the impact of artificial activity. We work to detect and prevent artificial accounts, behaviour and streaming activity across all of Spotify’s business areas and, as such, this is an exciting team with a diverse set of evolving challenges to overcome.
This team works to prevent abusive behaviours at the earliest possible stages and, as such, utilises some of the most exciting technologies across the disciplines of data science, data engineering and machine learning.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement a product strategy to reduce and prevent artificial behaviours on our platform.
Work closely with our team of data scientists and machine learning engineers to fight back against artificial activity wherever it’s found.
Collaborate closely with a broad range of stakeholders from across Spotify including from within our studio and several large areas we partner with.
Engage in exciting research across Spotify’s latest product areas to understand and prevent potential vectors of abuse.
Partner with the rest of the studio to ensure our work is having the impact we’d expect and implement strategies to pivot when it isn’t.
Who You Are
You’re an experienced Product Manager keen to work in a non-traditional product space, we’re out here to prevent fraud rather than designing or shipping features.
A confident and passionate communicator ready to jump into difficult conversations, build bridges to enable new areas of collaboration and the ability to crack some bad jokes when the chips are down.
You have led the product work within large tech companies that you can tell us about.
You have experience working in the field of fraud prevention, with expertise in deriving insights from a broad array of data sources and creating strategy based on them.
Somebody excited by an ever-evolving problem space and an understanding that there’s no silver bullet to prevent fraud!
Where You'll Be
This role is based in London or Stockholm.
We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
