Role Description: 

You will be partnering closely with Product Design, Engineering, User Research, Data Science, Product Marketing and more, to build and deliver world-class user economy experiences. You will lead the strategy and development of one of the user economy portfolio projects of Awards, Premium, or Paid Content, which will shape how millions of users interact on Reddit. The ideal candidate has experience in consumer products, a deep understanding of social media, and direct-to-consumer monetization.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy
    • Drive identifying and defining the significant near and long-term opportunities for a portfolio of product features that help users earn for their contributions on Reddit that meet users’ needs and fit with broader organizational strategies.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), develop roadmaps, and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Product Leadership & Execution
    • Drive product development with product design and engineering teams. Responsible for stakeholder alignment, feature definition, prioritization, communication, quality and launch and evaluation of success criteria.
    • Contribute to the go-to-market and product adoption strategies by working with legal, marketing and community management stakeholders
    • Define, track, and report on engagement metrics to track success and identify opportunity areas
    • Participate in release planning sessions to define initiatives, resolve dependencies, and data-driven prioritization 

Required Qualifications:

  • You are a detail-oriented team player with 4+ years of PM experience who isn’t afraid to get into the weeds and deliver quickly in a fast paced environment with 0-1 projects
  • You have a good blend of product design understanding and excellent execution skills; you are able to take a vision or a problem and drive them into solid functional specs. 
  • Strong track record of executing product features from ideation to launch with impact to consumer engagement metrics with a focus on collaboration with engineering, design and user research teams
  • You have experience with mobile platform (iOS/Android) and web, own core products at scale, or have worked closely with front end platform teams 
  • You have some experience working on products that solve complex problems with both a technical and social component (e.g. performance, reliability, product quality, etc.)
  • You are comfortable with data analysis; you have experience transforming data points into product insights to support a product POV and you know how to track success metrics in alignment with Reddit's wider business objectives
  • You are a clear communicator and team player, with the ability to translate technical work into clear business value for non-technical audiences.
  • You have exceptional project management & organization skills
  • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
  • Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a consumer focused technology company
  • Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, marketplaces, or direct-to-consumer monetization products
  • Basic to advanced SQL proficiency

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. The base pay range for this position is:
$190,800$267,100 USD
