Safety is one of Roblox's top priority. The Safety Group works to protect our community and ensure that our applications are safe and civil as we connect the next billion users to have meaningful social interactions. The User Behavior team specifically focuses on reducing behavioral abuse through features such as abuse reporting and proactive abuse detection.
As a Senior Product Manager for the User Behavior team, you will work with leadership, product, design, data science, and operations teams across Roblox to build products which monitor the user's behavior and move it toward more civil engagement. You will also drive important company-level goals that affect user safety. Specifically, you will drive the scalability and automation of our moderation efforts, while building user-facing features to encourage civility.
You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in product design and management, in which you managed software projects that cut across multiple partners and organizations.
- You are User Oriented: You always start with the needs of the user, whether they are Roblox users or internal engineers and own back-end features
- Lead product definition of AI/ML tools from strategy to execution
- An effective communicator, with strong listening, verbal, and written skills
- Dynamic and flexible, who creates opportunity out of uncertainty and ambiguity (e.g. changing requirements or incomplete data)
- A Problem Solver who leverages their thought process to yield logical and creative solutions with a systematic framework
- Team-player: You work with and inspire others around you, taking on tasks for the greater team
You Will:
- Lead part of our automation efforts, from definition of the strategy to full implementation.
- Autonomously own your scope, from vision to execution
- Collaborate across teams and departments to lead safety and civility on Roblox. Manage end-to-end feature design with an ability to translate abstract ideas into viable product features
- Collaborate with Product and XFN leadership against competing priorities to establish your features and contribute to the direction of your product goals
- Work with engineers, designers, analysts, and product owners to lead the planning/execution of complex product requirements
