By working with hundreds of restaurant & other partners, we maintain accurate pricing, availability & factual information for millions of menu items on menus across the world. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who is passionate about technology innovation and online catalog/listings to join our Restaurant Listing Management team. 

In this role, you will develop long term development & business technology strategies & will lead a cross-functional team to continuously improve Tripadvisor's Listings Management Menu products as well as the tools & infrastructure used to increase the quality of the listings. As a Senior PM, you will influence the product strategy, own your roadmap and produce specifications that evolve the platform’s feature set for both internal and external customers, and work closely with engineering to ensure quality deliverables on-time.

Tripadvisor Product Managers work with cross-functional teams of talented and passionate engineers, designers, data scientists and analysts to build products. We are looking for passionate and extremely entrepreneurial Product Managers to help innovate and execute product initiatives across the team.

This position is full time and can be remote. 

 Responsibilities

• Develop products and features that drive value for businesses, consumers, and Tripadvisor.

• Understand and influence the product strategy of Restaurant Ads and Premium; actively contribute to OKR planning; build and own your roadmap.

• Develop requirements and specifications that are informed by the product strategy, competitive positioning, customer feedback, technical feasibility and your unique insight.

• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, owning the product from conception through launch to maturity and support.

• Embrace hypothesis testing methodology: work with Data Science, Analytics, Engineering to define, build and launch tests, internalize the learnings, iterate to find and roll out wins.

• Work closely with Customer Service and Sales teams to ensure continuous two-way communication, informing, training and getting feedback from clients.

• Be data driven - always keep your metrics and measurement in mind. Wherever possible, use data to inform and strengthen your argument. Be comfortable to roll up your sleeves and dive into the data.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of comparable internet product management experience, including both B2B and consumer product management. Experience with online catalog/inventory/menu related products, two-sided platforms, and/or Machine Learning driven products is preferred.

• Strong problem solving, analytic, and decision-making skills. Able to ask the right questions, interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate effective action plans to resolve issues.

• Strong analytical and creative skills. Able to dive into the complex design tradeoffs of ads-driven products and evolve creative ways to unlock value for users.

• Good business judgment when making decisions and understanding the relevance/impact of each decision on the strategic direction of the team and the business

• Self-motivation, autonomy and tenacity - you have a track record of taking on complex and broad problem sets, creating structure, mobilizing teams, and pushing forward through challenges. All while staying transparent and knowing when to ask for help.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with various audiences across different seniority levels and a spectrum of functions.

• High attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead multiple projects at a time. Successfully able to meet deadlines.

• Comfortable with and adaptable to change. We work in an innovative fast growth environment where products and processes evolve rapidly.

• Teamwork skills essential; sense of humor preferred.
