Senior Product Manager, Trial job at Tilda

Tilda Research, based in San Francisco, is an innovator in clinical research recruitment & execution. We build software and support clinical trial infrastructure to help pharmaceutical companies identify, enroll and execute clinical trials efficiently. We operate a growing network of clinical research sites in the US, and our team has worked on over 250 pan-indication Phase I thru IV studies. Our founders are successful serial entrepreneurs, with three of their past companies leading to IPOs (VMware, MobileIron) or exits (LexentBio acquired by Roche).

About the Role: As the first Product Manager for the company, you will own the product roadmap and on-time delivery related to Tilda’s trial enrollment and execution products. You will play a key role in helping clinical research sites modernize and scale their operations to manage complex and decentralized clinical trials.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

You are passionate and have experience in user research and usability testing. You will spend time with end-users of our product, conduct interviews, and translate feedback into product enhancements.
Translate customer needs and opportunities into a compelling roadmap, writing user stories, owning and leading feature development and delivery.
Study existing and upcoming opportunities in clinical trial innovation, frequently communicating with customers to understand their needs, and helping us refine and build a compelling product roadmap.
Work cross-functionally with our engineering, design, clinical operations, and data science teams to ship great products which delight our consumers.
Possess excellent communication and presentation skills to help present Tilda product roadmap to internal stakeholders and customers.
Balance intuition and data-driven approaches in your product research and strategy process, and are able to write user stories which are well defined and comprehensive.
Have familiarity with software design patterns and features to implement in-app collaboration functionality (figma, clickup, monday, asana, jira, etc.)
Product and design intuition: You have a high design bar and well-honed product judgment.
Customer empathy: You can easily identify user pains, and prioritize them. You always put the customer first.
Strategic thinker: You are not afraid to think big and deliver on bold ideas.
Structured decision-making and communication: You take on complex product challenges, simplify them, and communicate them to your stakeholders.

Requirements

5+ years of product manager experience managing software products from inception through launch and iteration.
Product launch experience preferred
Prior experience in biopharma or CROs preferred but not required
Understanding of clinical trial platforms or healthcare related software preferred but not required
Bachelor’s degree required
