Are you bready* for a change?

As a Senior Product Manager, you will define the product vision and strategy for restaurants to maintain their books using data across the Toast platform and their accounting system. You will lead a cross-functional team across Toast including Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Research. This role is both strategic and technical, and will lead to significant business impact for both Toast and its customers.

About this roll*:

• In collaboration with product leadership, define and drive a well-informed product vision and strategy for restaurant bookkeeping
• Become the owner of your product, taking responsibility for the creation of product specs, business analysis for prioritization, product performance metrics and product roadmaps
• Develop an iterative approach for product development by understanding current pain points and opportunity by talking to restaurateurs and restaurant personas 
• Collaborate with the go-to-market team to execute on large scale product launches, driving product adoption and revenue 
• Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to both identify and prioritize new opportunities as well as measure the business impact and customer outcomes of during the various phases of product life cycle
• Partner with engineering managers and leads to improve engineering and product development processes (i.e. metric tracking, capacity planning, impact analysis)
• Future opportunity to manage and mentor Product Analysts & Associate Product Managers 

Do you have the right ingredients*?

• 5+ years of product management experience working on highly visible initiatives from inception through delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship great products.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with an ability to build strong relationships both within and outside of the product org
• Maintain a flexible, curious and collaborative mindset navigating change, uncertainty and challenging situations
• Experience partnering closely with product marketing on highly impactful product launches 
• Comfortable working as part of a geographically distributed team
• Exceptional time management, organization and communication skills.
• A plus: 
• Basic understanding of accounting/bookkeeping processes 
• Prior experience working with service driven software products
• Proven experience working with the hospitality industry.
