Toast is building out a New Ventures business unit with the goal of researching, developing, and scaling a new generation of products and business lines that can have a substantial impact on Toast’s long-term growth. We are searching for a product manager to help us with our new strategic brand focused advertising initiatives.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Work closely with business and engineering team members to develop the roadmap for restaurant advertising and demand gen capabilities, geared towards helping restaurants attract more guests and increase top line sales.
- Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for our digital ads technology platform, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Conduct restaurant interviews, market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product enhancement.
- Work with team and customers to test and quickly evolve products as needed based on results of tests.
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in advertising and marketing tech, specifically in product management capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. A technical background or technical degree is a plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing and digital advertising technology, including ad serving, targeting, measurement, and optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple and intuitive product solutions.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for innovation and a strong drive to succeed - early stage startup experience highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
