Senior Product Manager, Tax job at Spotify

As part of the Financial Engineering (FinE) mission, you’ll be part of an R&D Studio building a scalable platform which will help Spotify grow and diversify revenue globally. Specifically, you will work closely with our Tax Team to coordinate the development of innovative tax solutions and contribute to the overall success of our global operations.

What You'll Do

In collaboration with the Tax team, craft and evolve a product vision, strategy, and roadmap to build a product portfolio supporting the execution of tax strategy to ensure tax compliance and minimize risk
Design, document and deploy solutions for E2E processes addressing holistic oversight from customer onboarding, through tax determination to compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and complete tax-related projects - covering both custom in-house development and external solutions assessments
Drive continuous improvement in tax processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Who You Are

You are experienced in defining and driving product strategy, able to translate the knowledge & experience of subject matter experts, internal policies and external requirements to innovative and efficient solutions
Strong understanding of tax technology, tax set-up and determination in OMS’s (various, including custom in-house builds) and ERP’s (we use Netsuite) as well as tax solutions vendors and service providers
You are experienced with working in a fast-paced, multinational company, and have a background in tax and compliance for digital services
Established knowledge of how to navigate complex tax system set up
