Sweet is a game based digital collectibles fan engagement platform and marketplace used by top sports, entertainment, and consumer brands worldwide, including the NHL (https://nhlbreakaway.com), NBA teams, F1 teams and more. Our collectibles are built and delivered on the blockchain, to allow for true digital ownership and enable new collector game experiences that drive fan engagement for our clients.

Sweet is looking for a Senior Product Manager who will help build a world-class gamified, digital collectibles fan experience. The right person will have a track record of delivering product experiences that engage, excite and are easy to use, while reinforcing a level of trust and security with the user. The focus area of this role will be on gamification of platform features and experiences, so a strong background in mobile or video gaming is desirable. While not necessary, some experience in web3 gaming is a plus. This role requires someone who is both well-organized and delivers complex projects on time, while balancing the needs of a diverse set of stakeholders. Even more importantly, we’re looking for someone who can creatively, strategically, and cross-functionally shepard product concepts and features from initial ideation all the way to delivery as a key member of the Sweet team.

This position is fully remote and reports to the EVP of Product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in shaping and executing the product strategy and vision of the Sweet Gamified Digital Collectibles platform, especially gamification concepts and features
  • Own the creation, development, and ongoing maintenance of gamification product features and enhancements; prioritize and resolve bugs
  • Liaise with business development, operations, client success, marketing, customer support, and executive stakeholders in communicating product roadmap and managing inbound feature requests. This role will often be in meetings that help shape the future trajectory of Sweet.
  • Spec product features for development by Sweet’s engineering team; participate directly in sprint planning & backlog grooming. Effectively communicate the needs of the user and vision for the product.
  • Combine intuition and experience with data analysis, user testing, and competitive research to identify opportunities for product improvement.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as a product manager, ideally in a mobile or video gaming context but experience in digital consumer products and sports is also valuable
  • Knowledge of web3 gaming and application of blockchain technology is a plus, as this will help you map your ideas to our technical approach and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to break down complex products into phased feature rollouts, considering available resources, timelines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. Proficient in writing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong UI/UX skills; ability to draft wireframes and communicate complex ideas visually.
  • Data-oriented approach to decision-making and analysis. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and extreme attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in JIRA, Confluence, or other similar project management and documentation software.
  • Passion for digital collectibles, sports,  and blockchain technology are all pluses

Join our rapidly growing global, enthusiastic, and fully remote team to help market our brand partner’s use of our gamified digital collectibles platform to drive fan engagement and new ways to experience fandom.
